Thanks so much for your continued support of North Texas Directors of Volunteers in Agencies (NT DOVIA).  I have been a member of this chapter almost since the beginning and we have done some outstanding work together.  From our first volunteer management conference at the MADD office in Lewisville, to establishing a website, to having wonderful members like you; 2008 promises to be another great year for this organization.  NTDOVIA is one of the best kept secrets in the non profit community in this area and this year as your president I want to let that secret out. 

I want more people to know about this organization and benefits of being involved.  There is value in our networking, contacts and professional development that not only benefits us personally, but the agencies we support as well.  To increase our membership, each month we will be having a contest at our monthly meetings.  The member who brings the most non members to the meeting will be given a free conference registration to our conference this fall. 

 For NTDOVIA to continue to grow, we all need to get involved.  As president I need your ideas for what you want to see happen with NTDOVIA over the next year.  Please contact me at peterson874@msn.com with any ideas you have to make this website and NTDOVIA more of a resource for you.
